...and so they look to my livejournal.
I'm in a spiteful mood today.
There's a movie out called the Break Up starring Vince Vaughan as Gary Grobowski and Jennifer Aniston as Brooke Meyers. Yes, you read that right. Gary GROBOWSKI and Brooke MEYERS. GROWBOWSKI. MEYERS. Obviously God is trying to play a sick twisted joke on me.
Good one, God. Wait till I get you back. Then we'll all be laughing.
I work two jobs. 9 to 5 as a carpenter/electrician/designer for a theatre company. I then work 6 to close (midnight usually) on weekends at the movie theatre, serving popcorn, though I've requested more hours. The jobs are ok, I just wish I had more time to do other things. Yay for the 64 thousand plus college loan laughing in my face.
I'm going to squint the hell out of you until you are paid up.
I've brought my comic books up from home so I read those when I have the time to reminisce what it was like to be a kid figuring out how to be a hero. Insert sad dorky face here. But hey, I didn't take French so I could pick up chicks. I took French so I could be like Gambit and then pick up chicks. C'est ma vie.
In more positive news, today, I'm listening to the new Taking Back Sunday album. Awesome. Pure Genius. Amazing. Much better than their sophomore album. You should listen to it. In fact, jump to my Myspace profile and listen to a single off it now (www.myspace.com/dreammephisto). Overall, I feel that TBS has grown up with me. The band knows me and I know them, but not in some freaky stalker fan sort of way.
Sigh. So this is life, huh? I wish I paid more attention to it before I graduated college. It was more fun then. It's a bitch now.
P.S. If you don't know why the names from the Break Up movie bother me, then...well...fine. But I'm sure you're all smart enough people with contacts to contact to figure it out. Or you know, the more easier way of Facebook. Or Myspace. Whatever. Actually, I wouldn't say it bothers me, it annoys me more than anything. And then the more I think about it, the more I have to laugh and give one up to God.
That was a really good joke.
