There is a spoiler for the show the Gauntlet 2. Just a warning.
And speaking of, one of my guilty pleasures is watching the Gauntlet 2. Mainly I watch it because my boy Derrick (Poland Represent!) is in it. Now Derrick the captain of the Veterans, is the coolest mutha fucka around, and the strongest. He had to go into the Gauntlet (if you don't know, an area where the team captain must face off against a fellow teammate upon losing a challenge) a whopping 4 times! He had to take on the strongest and biggest of his teammates on (it's how the team voted) and sent them all packing home.
Next week might be different. Tonight, the veterans lost yet again to the rookies and it ended up being Derrick and Timmy in the Gauntlet. Now Timmy is my second favorite character because he's hella funny. They have to do reverse tug-o-war and now seeing Timmy up against Derrick, you'd think Derrick would win. Derrick is more muscular, has survived 4 already, has heart, and is Polish (really, you don't want to fuck with one of us). Timmy on the other hand, is tall and lanky, and extremely funny, but the latter doesn't really help in reverse tug-o-war.
So they get in position...the bell is rung...and all I see is Derrick get yanked back before it goes straight into scenes for next week's episode. I worry a little bit, then shrug it off. I mean, come on! It's mutha fucking Derrick! Five minutes later I get really worried and so end up on line looking for the spoilers. My worst fears have come true. Derrick doesn't make it to the end.
I'm so sad. To go out like that? The last Gauntlet too before the final mission. It hurts. So much. Maybe the spoilers are wrong, but still. I haven't found one spoiler who said that Derrick wins the challenge. I'm going to cry now.
And no, I don't have a crush on Derrick. It's just respect. Really.
