Bringing in the new year...

Jan 01, 2005 23:30

2004 was probably the most eventful year by far...and the most eye opening.

It consisted of:

-pushing myself to work hard in school
-NO SLEEP
-making great strides in music..finally doing what I wanted to do and succeeding at it.
-ending a music project which ended up leaving me with NO music at all.
-living on my own at school
-struggling to find myself
-making amazing new friends (!!!)
-GREAT hangouts and parties
-flying to CHICAGO to see HANSON'S DVD TAPING.
-seeing HANSON in PORTLAND
-being able to start a new life...not worrying about others opinions
-an extreme amount of partying, hangovers, and the best outrageous drunk stories I will EVER EVER have.
-lots of crying
-learning that hormones can ruin everything.
-bad bad bad bad relationships
-new experiences ;)
-liars and cheaters
-giving too many people second chances
-Meeting a nice boy.

But by the end of the year...I realized the good definitely outweights the bad. Of course I had my share of mishaps and heartbreaks and hangovers, but right now I can't complain. I found people I love hanging out with, I'm slowly starting up music again (and plan on picking up the pace), and I'm with an awesome guy who is just as retarded as I am...so it works.

Hopefully 2005 will bring lots of happiness, love, and success in what I want to do.

Speaking of the new year, New Years Eve was a lot of fun. For the record, I DID NOT get lost driving to Maine. The tolls and I got along just fine and except for a wrong turn on the way home, it was perfect. Be proud of me.
