Weight

So I finally weighed myself today. I stopped in the nurse's office today on my way back up to my room after lunch and asked if she had a scale. I'm 122, only 5lbs higher than I was pre-pregnancy! I was actually kind of shocked, although I suppose I shouldn't've been. For the past two weeks, I've been wearing two of four pre-pregnancy pants that fit again.  I'm soooo excited.

I'm also really looking forward to this whole snowy adventure. I went to the grocery store today around 5pm. The parking lot was packed. God blessed me with a parking spot two spots away from the cart return, where there was one cart which happened to have the child safety straps in the seat.  I left Andrew in the car while I ran to get the cart, came back, put the multi-colored cart cover over the seat, got Andrew out of the car, failed to buckle him in,  walked up to the front of the store, managed to buckle Andrew in after I realized his coat was what had been in the way, and then went into the store.  There was only one cart in the entranceway of Giant. I told Andrew that we'd do a little shopping then practice patience.  It really wasn't that bad at all though.  There were absolutely no chicken breasts or bulk non-hot sausage in the meat section. I didn't even check the milk situation, but I should've (we have a little over a half gallon left).  So many people commented on Andrew. We turned down the frozen food aisle first, where two girls commented on "the baby." I stood there for a minute, letting them talk to him as their mother picked out some food. They were sweet. I ran into this one woman three times, each time she commented to me/others around how much Andrew was enjoying everything, especially the lights. He kept flinging himself back against the corner of the seat in the cart and was staring up at the ceiling. I never realized just how bright the store was until I'd been taking Andrew recently and he's been fascinated with all the lights up there.  Anyway, this one other girl riding in the seat of the cart pointed out "the baby" to her mother and did so again once we were standing near each other in line. I've realized that the lines near the fruit/vegetable entrance typically has way shorter lines than the entrance near the florist, so I now go there if the self-checkout lines are too long. I was the third person in the line and got checked out fairly quickly. :)
