A brief history of my blogging experience since I was bored.
I don't think anyone cares but It's interesting since I tend to forget most things about my past except some details.
+ During 5th grade I had a notebook that functioned as a real diary. I had several diaries before that but I never filled them up, but I filled up this one. Her name was Gokone. I gushed a lot about shounen-ai and how "Gokone-chan, you are the one that knows me the most" and stuff.
Hey, I was 10 years old, alright.
And I'm pretty damn proud of having good grammar back then, now that I read the entire thing cover to cover (It's a pretty small notebook).
- Lifespan: January 13 - February 20, 2004 (one month and 7 days)
+ After Gokone was another notebook which I can't find today, and its name was Aspeneon. I remember that it was yellow and I bought it at the Woodrose bookstore. Short-lived.
+ Some time after that, which is probably around 6th grade or the summer of 5th grade, I got an EBloggy account and used it a LOT. I named it Lunatic Garden.
+ EBloggy went into this severe maintenance mode sort of thing, and all the users were deleted. Mine included. So I was blog-less for some time until Trisha (
trishacamille) got a Blogspot.
Then I decided to follow because hey, why not, and we can comment on each other's entries. So I made one, and Lunatic Garden (the second incarnation) was born, so named after a dungeon I really really liked in Wild Arms 3 (the run-down temple with all the canals and plants and the moon/gravity guardian).
Lunatic Garden was made on February 12,2005.
Over the course I got my computer Kanon replaced with my current one, CHAOS.
That makes CHAOS at least a year old. Woot.
- Lifespan: February 12 - June 23 2005 (4 months and 11 days)
- Excerpt: "I've read my 5th grade diary. I am surprised to how much I've changed."
+ On June 23, 2005 I moved to Xanga, and it was named Twilight Garden.
This was the longest blog I have ever had in my entire life.
Some time, Xanga went all pissy and deleted all the accounts belonging to users who were aged below 13, and I was 12. So byebye Twilight Garden.
Lifespan: June 23, 2005 - March 19, 2006 (around 8 months)
+ After Twilight Garden's demise, I made a new one, called Zero Minus Infinity and it's my current one. I don't use it anymore though except to read all of my batchmates' blogs (since we're predominantly a xanga-using batch) and comment, and sometimes I crosspost my entries from here to there.
Zero Minus Infinity was so named because of the song Successful Mission, the opening of Saber Marionette J. It has a line which said "Wandering the void between zero and infinity" and so I thought "does negative infinity exist?" so the name was born.
Created on March 19 of this year.
Lifespan: March 19 - July 21, 2006 (semi-inactivity - 4 Months and two days)
+ And here you are now, at my livejournal, Dreamland Arrest. I moved here because it's more awesome than LJ and Jill and Jen have it, so yeah, Hopefully most of our batchmates will move to LJ because in my opinion, it's much more awesome than Xanga.
Probably because I'm an icon-whore. I like icons.
- Random Tidbit: This LJ's full name is Dreamland House Arrest, referencing to the fact that I stay in my room isolated from the rest of the world other than chat for most of my life.
Lifespan: May 15, 2006 - Present
And there you have it. PROOF THAT I AM ADDICTED TO BLOGS
HA
CAN ANYONE ELSE (I'm looking at you batchmates!) MATCH THAT?
OHOHOHO
( So if you count starting from Lunatic Garden 2, which is the only blog I know to have a definite date of creation, I have been blogging on the internet for one year and 10 months. To make it simpler and to give you a sense of how long it was, this lasted from the middle of 6th grade and currently it is the second semester of 1st year HS)
