Just had to post this!

A short film: Galileo
Created with Adobe’s Creative Suite, Ghislain Avrillon’s Galileo is fantastically analog in style for such a digital piece; it was traditionally animated frame-by-frame using Flash.  --from The Awsomer

This is absolutely incredible!  Go watch!

Hmmm...since I'm here....

NSFW: winner of SIGGRAPH’s Best Student Piece Award, Blind Spot reminds me of Pixar’s Ratatouille animation style but its subject (and brain) matter are definitely adult.

Another one that's pretty good is this one ... La Puerta. Literally a voyage through space and time: the stop motion video not only knocks on but knocks down doors and walls in Spain and Italy.

This one should be seen if for nothing else then the music sync: Lumitectura.  A time-lapse film; it was filmed on a single day between 2pm and 6pm. It uses about 50 masks to create normally impossible lighting situations.  The music used on this one (Saltillo's The Opening) is incredible as well.

Movie trailers....

Sure, it’s geared towards kids, but the The Secret of Kells wins me over with its fantastic animation and Celtic storyline. I highly recommend watching the other clips, too. Especially this one: Aisling's Song Pangur Ban. The cat into spirit and back animation is great!

Now I admit...this one reminds me of a cross between The Professional and one of those "world after armageddon "movies...but I liked it anyway ;o). It's based off the work of The Crow’s James O’Barr and shot on a RED, Frame 137 stars 10-year old Sam Ransom; he does all his own wire work and fire breathing in this bad-ass teaser.  This one is amazing! Mostly because of the kid.

Another one that reminds me of Pixar's animation style but definitely adult : A.D. - a CG animated Horror-Adventure written by Haylar Garcia.

Game trailers...

Borderlands: General Knoxx. Just because of the woman's voice at the beginning...

Dragon Age: Awakening’s Sigrun Trailer reveals that the Legion of the Dead have finally lived up to their name. Nothing like a really good ol’ underground romp!

Now for the cool...

If only everything were as easy as copy, paste and undo: Adobe Photoshop Cook is a whimsical stop-motion short film on making butter cookies; next up: click-drag-ingest.

A music video celebrating tea! Awesome! Cup of Brown Joy by Elemental

I can't read a darn thing on this page but this video is way cool! Bad Apple!: A Stop Motion PV. Update: Ohhh...looks like they've caption it for english speakers. Cool!

And to end your day...The funny...

This one starts off  (and ends) like a cheesy Korean soap opera, but My Way has a delicious center of awesomery-goodness packed with a German Wolverine, ninjas, and heinous head butts.

And who can not watch this Windows 7 Parody? Sure, Microsoft claims that it’s your idea but this video reveals the perils of asking customers what they really want; worth watching all the way to the end. Warning: Slightly NSFW

Who would win? Watch this Star Wars Vs Star Trek vid and find out! LOL!

T-Shirt War! A stop motion music video! Well worth watching! I really love the ending when they "explode". The page says that you can also buy the t-shirts that they wore in the video....hmmmm...

And last but not least : 3,000 New Yorkers participate in the 2010 No Pants Subway Ride, riding pantless in 100 different train cars. Kickin' soundtrack, too! My favorite part: the woman mouthing WTF!

Let's hear it for no pants!!!!! Yea!!!!

And that's all...for now....

celtic, dragon age, stra wars, video, movie trailer, borderlands, window's 7, parody, photoshop, trailer, t-shirt, pantless, galileo, blind, funny, star trek, no pants, music video, game trailer, animation, cook
