...I'm telling ya!
First up....
Live Action: Halo ODST. It kicks some serious butt and makes me despondent over the limbo status of the
movie. Love the background music used in the clip by the way.
The Defendor trailer starring Woody Harrleson. It's about a regular Joe who believes he’s a superhero and his attempts to bring down Captain Industry, a drug and weapons dealer. Looks like it start off ...well, rather funny and then gets pretty dark. Not sure if this is something I'll go see.
Assassisn's Creed II: Visions of Venice. Ezio looks pretty badass: he dual-wields weapons, leaps from tall buildings and hang glides Da Vinci style. Have to say I like some of the other trailers better.
This one on Amazon is pretty cool. No gameplay or anything but I just gotta say I love me some da Vinci!
This one is for all the old anime fans.
Space Cruiser Yamato trailer. Man...talk about old skool! I though this was a remake, you know, faster, stronger, better....but I don't know. The voice acting is very melodramatic, just like in the old days. The animation looks smoother but the style is still very much 70/80's...just like when I was a girl,,,XD! It's due out in Japan on 12/12. I probably won't go see this one if it comes out here in the US.
In honor of Michael Jackson, may he rest in peace.
Michael Jackson Medley by online musicians Sam Tsui and Kurt Schneider. They use creative CG to turn a two-man band into a seven-member a capella group. Sing me impressed.
Now everyone knows I love the Dead Space series. The trailers are pretty awesome, too! So, here's the latest for
Dead Space: Extraction. It's a "dev diary" peek and gives the scoop on game: bolder colors and silhouettes highlights focus on action, while vanishing enemies and environments keep you off guard. Cool! And I have to admit that I found the advertisement for Rock Band:The Beatles that showed before the trailer pretty amusing, too.
Now a product video. It's rather short and was created by Mexico-based Cru de Ladies.
Mundo de Papel (Paper World) envisions a life of college-ruled paper. I understand that it was made in 2 weeks using 3DS Max, After Effects, and Photoshop. I'm not crazy about the music they used but I do like how everything, and I mean everything, is made of paper.
Now I personally didn't like this one but I think that It has promise as far as animating other comics. I remember it worked well for one of the Hellboy: Golden Army trailers awhile back. Plus I know that a lot of people really like Marvel (Disney not withstanding), soooo....Ladies and Gentlemen...I bring you the Marvel Motion Comics -
X-Men: Gifted. For the time being, you can watch the whole first episode for free.
This one I found pretty funny...especially since I suspect it's actually the other way around...XD! At least with my kids...XP.
Parent FB/Twitter Stalking. Oh, wtf...ermmm...I mean....merciful heavens...my computer is starting to lock up. Guess I'll have to finish this later.
