so when jeff and i flew back from georgia, our southwest plane landed in new orleans amidst a bad storm and was stuck on the runway for almost two hours, just waiting to pull into a gate. we didn't get very mad about it because hey, it's the weather - there's not a whole lot you can do. and the crew was very nice and went about passing along extra

I was on a flight with a Delta executive once. The flight was delayed about an hour, and would have been canceled if not for him being on the flight. So, he basically opened up the bar for the entire flight. I don't usually drink on flights, but I couldn't resist having a Bloody Mary or two.

My mom is sortof famous among her friends for writing to airlines about bad service and getting vouchers. I am amazed that they did it without getting a complaint first.
