hell, you can do the hsc over again, it just takes another year out of your poor young life.

it's not the be all and end all. believe me. you can make your entrance in other methods, and don't think people are really going to care that you didn't do that well, and those who do are shallow minded snobby north shore/eastern suburbs prick types.

Some of us and I repeat some of us wish to not fail. Why do we not wish to fail our hsc? Because we refuse to accept failure. We want to achieve things in life, not fail. Some of us see the HSC as a challenge, one of many challenges. if we do not try our hardest here, will we ever? I'm sick of everyone saying the HSC isn't the be all and end all. For us St georgian girls, it fucking is. We are here to kick ass, a UAI under 90 is not acceptable.

So I am sorry that being smart and intelligent makes us snobby, I say its just makes better than lets say 70% of the rest of the state? *smiles*

anything that isn't what you/i want is not acceptable. that's how I personally see how you should determine "failing". not by what mark you get ...... that's only important because that's what you need to get to do what you wanna do in uni. and I agree, just because yes, granted- the hsc may not truly be the "be all and end all", and that yes, there are other ways of getting around etc, etc. but if with hard work & determination you can get what you want the first shot, why the hell shouldn't you ??? it's the challenges that you face in your life that allow you find out who you truly are ..........

the point is, if you fail to manage to deal with it for some reason or another, its not the end, and you can do what you want.

do what you can, but if you fail, you'll survive. i did.
