Something is amiss...
I got up this morning and just felt horribly odd. I dunno if I got too much sleep, didn't get enough or what. Yesterday at work was CRAZY. It was calm and normal and then just *BOOM* everyone came in and started buying the weirdest things.
Anyway... So I do my normal bit and get ready for school, leaving about 5 minutes late as usual. The roads are empty except for a couple police cruisers. I got stopped twice on my way to school with some cops asking me where I was going and why I was out. I get to school and there's only about 6 people in class, including the professor. Normally there's about 20 of us. We do some random stuff and the professor slips out to do something while we're reading some articles to discuss. He comes back in and tells us we're not going to be let out of class and that we needed to move to a different room. Apparently the one we were in has windows and he wanted us in a room without windows. Dr Allen is a touch weird on occasion.
So we go and lock ourselves in the computer lab across the hall. All of a sudden there's some crashing and breaking glass coming from the hall, I heard some guy scream. Then it goes silent. Dr Allen is telling us to remain calm and just focus on our assignment. Then, very faintly, there's a scratching on the door and someone trying to turn the doorknob. There was some odd grunting/breathing type noises too. Maybe some raccoons got into the building.
All I can say is thank goodness we still have power and internet access.
