It's that time again.
Today's questions for thefridayfive supplied ever so kindly by alfvaen
1) Do you like your birth-name? Why?
Yeah, I think my birth name is quite pretty. Jenna. It means White Swan in Gaelic and Heaven in Arabic. It's not short for anything. It's my full name.
2) If you could change your name to anything else, what would it be?
I'd probably extend it to Genevieve. But I'd still go by Jenna.
3) What names would you consider giving your children?
I've never really thought about it. There's names I like and names I hate. I'm a weird girl and never planned baby names. Guess I spent so much of my life not wanting kids that when I changed my mind, I never gave it thought. I decided it would be something I'd discuss with my husband at the time. Especially since it should be a joint decision.
4) If you had a band, what would you name it, and why?
Well, as of right now, I think I'd opt for "Road to Cynicism." But that's for other reasons. I wouldn't mind naming my band Lloyd Dobbler, cause like, I'm a dork.
5) Is there a name that you completely hate? Why?
I really dislike the names Michael, Jason and Morgan. There's no real reasons except that they make me think of people I don't like (well, Jason and Michael do.) Morgan is just a shorter version of Morgana and being an Arthurian geek... yeah, not naming my kid that. Who wants to name their kid after Arthur's bastard child who was Maab's last hope for a future?! Seriously...
