i am composing an update from work
hello, livejournal. no president jesus for you today. i am ahead at work. that hasn't happened in ages. here is an update on my life.
still living with jeff/heather/the ferrets, cat and hedgehog.
still giving all my money to my baby mama.
no longer 1/4 laid off from work, and i got a raise. so that means i can give even more money to my baby mama.
going to start a proper 2nd job the weekend of "thanksgiving" so that i can have a little money to myself. (i actually do alright. i'm still living/drinking.)
going to the boare's head feast in tulsa the weekend after next to see weiannan's band queen's gambit. and not to feast on a boar's head (apparently it isn't on the menu), which i would do if i had the chance. you don't wanna be lying on your death bed going, "crap! what does boar's head taste like!?!"
so that's all renaissance fairey.
there is a new story incubating in the darkest recesses of my mind. one i'm not sure i want to write, but i cannot stop it. the main character is already a solid, living creature to me. half based on my young friend Joel and half on Aleister Crowley.
i'm going to get one more issue of yeti detective scripted before i start on it so i can have a fair lead on Jordan's pencils. god, i hope it dies by then. i know it won't. three scenes have already assaulted my inner world.
it's going to be bad. hot, gay witch sex bad.
and now i have work.
