in the spirit of openness i will also add my less common fears:
the biggest being something bad happening to an innocent person. when i'm watching a movie and someone hurts someone weaker than them in almost any way, it gives me the shakes and can sometimes depress me for the whole rest of the day.
also, i am afraid of walking in the grass with bare feet. i can't help but imagine stepping on used needles, broken glass, bees, scorpions. it's bad.
i'm not afraid of cephalopods in my waking life, but in virtually every frightening dream i have the evil can be traced back to some tentacled creature. in fact, i've had multiple dreams where zombie attack occurred at the bidding of giant, ink shooting sea dwellers.
