time to go to college...
so i had my campus tour of ashford today.
its a nice campus, and i like the 12-1 ratio for profs/students. that is pleasing.
i was a little freaked by the "crucifix in every classroom" policy. i think you all understand the irony of my attending a christian private college. however, tis a good school with a major im okay with (health and human services management).
given the huge amount of hospitals and social service companies around here, i'd never be wanting for a job. that is reassuring.
also? there's statues of saints and jesus everywhere. im totally going to take pictures of my smoke breaks with them. perhaps i'll chat them up, give the ultra religious students that lack a sense of humor quite a fright.
all thats left now is getting transcripts there and finishing up financial aid. the lady is super nice, and they gave me a backpack and a tshirt and a pen.
20 dollar application fee well spent.
