(no subject)
Bars are no longer of interest to me. My desire to drink, or technically to get drunk, has waned. This is most likely temporary, but I'm not complaining. Bars just are boring to me now, I hate yelling at my friends so we can have a conversation. I won't dance unless I'm hammered and I don't want to be hammered so I guess clubs just aren't where its at for me anymore. Circuit tends to be the only fun club anymore and GirlBar is getting way to expensive so I don't wanna waste my money.
Point being - bars are BORING. I'd rather go on a drunk adventure or hang out at a friends and be able to talk
I'm glad Chels has returned from her world (at least a little bit). I missed her. Return to start. My plant is officially on its last leg now :(
For some reason I keep feeling a need for attention, namely affection but I am really picky about who it comes from and I don't want it to extend beyond that. This makes things difficult.
Work yesterday was awesome -- A short day with a great crew and new contacts made for a wonderful afternoon. I hope I get to work with them again in the future :) My first time stepping foot in Wrigley Field and I only went inside about 15 feet. I still haven't seen the field and yes I lived 3 blocks away from it for a year.
L'iceberg is one of the coolest fucking movies EVER. Such a throwback to the silents and physical comedy that is lacking in films today. It was different and it was silly and I am very glad Jeanie and I rented it!
Paprika is climbing to the top of my movies to watch list. I am in the middle of No Country For Old Men but I got antsy so I'll finish it later.
Can't wait to hear this new Ladytron disc. And C was right, the new Portishead record is brilliant. I'm surprised I like it so much! Infected Mushroom is pretty cool background music as well.
