A few drabbles/super short one shots; various parings; pg-13
I felt like writing, so I put my itunes on shuffle and decided to write a drabble (or whatever I had the time to do) for each song. Some are het pairings, some aren't.
Oh, and they're not song fics. They're inspired by music, like we all are naturally, but they aren't song fics because...eh, I just don't really like song fics. And they aren't beta'd either. My eyelids are giving up on me at the moment so I hope they aren't too bad, lol. Enjoy :)
Song: Backstabber - Ke$ha
Pairing: CL/TOP
She saw him with his new girl, sipping whatever the hell he'd chosen to drink at Starbuck's with their stupid hands intertwined. She had more than a good mind to turn on her heels and leave just as fast as she'd entered the overpriced coffee shop, but something came over her. Before it made much sense to her actually, she had already flipped her hair unconsciously and walked straight over to him.
"Long time no see."
That phrase was often said with a tinge of actual care for the person one was talking to, but that part of the equation was absent as Chaerin surveyed the girl he sat with. He noticed her eyeing the girl and replied mechanically but Chaerin didn't care much for his response; she was much more concerned for this girl.
She looked sweet enough, too bad she was linked up with a liar.
It brought a smile to her face to know that she had been that girl before and had learned her lesson. With a faint you're lucky I even talked to you kind of smile flashed in his direction, she departed, suddenly in the mood for anything but coffee.

Pairing: Dongwoon/Kikwang
Kikwang hated parties for many reasons.
Drunk girls, drunk guys, no space, and no one point of interest in the whole venue.
He'd been wondering why he'd agreed to go to this thing, remembering something Yoseob said along the lines of 'party of the year -'the food is great-gayoon will be there...' and he'd let himself be dragged along.
Kikwang would've stayed, body almost limp with boredom and annoyance, against a wall in the club, had a blonde in a too tight v-neck not blocked his view of the nearly passed out college kids dancing in front of him. That shirt looked uncomfortable for the boy, but Kikwang couldn't complain with the pecs it exposed. The guy's face didn't seem fair though.
He had a killer body and a gorgeous, strong (maybe European and Asian?) features. Then again, nothing was fair these days.
Except for when the blonde caught his lidded gaze and smirked, switching directions and approaching Kikwang from a few meters away. Yep, that was definitely fair.
Suddenly, this party didn't suck so much.

Pairing: Hyoyeon/Donghae
For the 5th time in maybe three minutes, Hyoyeon's phone rang, moving along the table top due to the vibrate setting. It only made the whole thing more of a nuisance because everyone in the room including Hyo knew exactly who it was. Ignoring the call, she winced as Sunny grinned lazily at her on the other side of the sofa.
"That's what you get for leading the man on," she mused, clearly entertained by Hyoyeon's inability to put an end to whatever she and Donghae's thing was because it was definitely something but she wasn't sure if she still wanted it. Ignoring (taking specific heed to) Sunny's comments, Hyoyeon answered the phone with an abrupt motion.
"Donghae?" she said, voice monotone because she honestly had no idea what to say, let alone how to make it exciting.
"Oh -- um -- hi, I was just calling to see what you were doing," he replied. It was almost as if she could feel him regretting his questionable choice of an opener on the phone because she sighed momentarily after it. Her next phrase was completely out of character and not apart of the plan, whatever the hell it was, but she said it nonetheless. Well, more like spat.
"You can't just call me like this. You know, over and over and over. It gets annoying, and I don't know you that well either..." she trailed off, but what needed to be said had already been and she could've sworn she'd heard him make a sound that no man should ever have to make. It was the lovechild of a squawk and a whimper, and it was just as weird as the description.
It only made her more resolved in her direct approach at cutting things off, though they'd never technically started in the first place. She hung up after he gave her a faint I understand though it wasn't unapparent in the least bit that he didn't at all.
He made that part known when the calling spree started all over again two nights later.
