Japanese
I had my fifth Japanese lesson today.
A new boy joined - he seems nice but bless him, his mother personally came to introduce him (how embarrassing!) - he took it well though XD We had a little chat at 'ocha no jican desu' and he revealed he likes shoujo manga! I told him that he should also talk to the other young people in the class because they are also into anime and manga. I hope he does get a chance but they have become a bit cliquey now. Actually the cliquey stuff is getting a bit annoying because it's getting hard to talk to them and it's always like they know a joke that no one else is privy to, but I guess it's just the excitement of being young and finding other people with the same things in common with you. (Blimey I sounded old there). Maybe I'm jealous I got clique rejected!
Next week we are roleplaying shops and have to bring in items. I got clothing shop. Should I bring in some lolita stuff?
Nectar Card and The Hush Sound revelation
I've just put some Arthur onto DVD (love Arthur and am collecting all the episodes) and now I am going to listen to the new 'The Hush Sound' album I downloaded. Up to the 25th of June Nectar will give you double points if you use iTunes via their website and after that you can collect normal points (that is if you have a Nectar card of course). You can also redeem your points for really random things on their website with postage included! I was never really interested in my Nectar card because I thought it was just for grocery shopping but seriously - there are so many shops that you can use it on if you shop online! In fact I am going to redeem my points on the first 'The Hush Sound' CD because they have it for an amazingly cheap price.
etc
I'm still editing Curiouser and Curiouser. Tomorrow I might do a C&C picture OR I will go to the OXO tower to see Dave's brother's photos. I want to take mum to see though, so of course Robert will have to come, but he'll only come if it's raining and he has no other excuse. Tomorrow is the last day.
I've started writing a story called 'Floribunda'. I'm not sure if I like the introduction but I will try and write a bit more before I give up on it. I think I need to write some character sheets and actually plan out the story (I have rough notions but no proper ideas yet).
Have any of you read 'The Looking Glass Wars' by Frank Beddor? Do you think I would like it?Has anyone got 'Princess Alyss'? Is it as pretty as the cover looks?
