not-such-a quick entry
quick update.
I forgot to mention that the other night i saw a film screening of "Serenity", a sci-fi film by Joss Whedon, who wrote Buffy the Vampire Slayer and other assorted shows (the movie is based on Firefly, if you ever watched that)...anywyas he went to Wes, so he brought the film here for a free preview. Not sure when it comes out. But it was pretty good. I liked it, and I don't usually watch sci-fi stuff. The Q&A afterwards was really interesting, too.
So last night I went to a birthday party for one of the guys in the a capella group I'm in. Christian and I went there together, which was good, b/c i probably would not have gone by myself. John (the birthday guy) lives in a house like 2 minutes from our dorm, but when we walked in, it was crazy with lots of people drinking, and I didn't recognize anyone at first. So then John came over and we talked, and another member Eric came over too. John gave us a "grand tour" and we ended up in his room talking, and eventually the other Quasimodal people who came later joined us upstairs and we just chilled until about 12:30. It was really fun. The people in the group are seriously so awesome. Really funny, and they all get along, and they are all just so nice. I am so happy to be in their group. I think tonight (wow its friday already) we might be having a group dinner or something.
Classes have been going well. I like them all, which is great. Today (friday) i have spanish at 10, and then my music skills TA section. then i'm done for the weekend! yes! Sam is going to be away every Friday-Saturday night until October, so it will be a little lonely around the dorm room (s).
I miss you all! How's drama going? I want updates. And when are you all goingto come visit!? Wes is awesome...you really should come stay over with me. :)
