So here is yet another update.
I got a job, I think I posted that already. Working at Wal-Mart, its not as bad as I thought it would be. They are giving me at least 32-33 hours a week and we get paid bi-weekly, so that is around a 65+hr check, which is nice. Hours are everywhere... for instance tomorrow I work 2pm to 11pm. And it took me some time to get used to being on my feet for 8 hours a day. I was hired for the shoe department, but lately I have been working in the apparel area. Which is a nice change.
Yesterday, had its ups and downs. I got off work to discover my mom and sister standing outside the vet's office with my kitten. Yes, kitten. I don't know if I posted about it, but around two weeks ago we recently adopted two little female kittens around 8 weeks in age. Okay, back to the story. Blaze, a 70+ golden retriever of ours... he can be a good dog, but he has issues. He's food aggressive, and dog digressive. So yesterday, for whatever reason he attacked my kitten Zoe. 70+ dog verses a 1.3lb kitten... thankfully the ending of it is not tragic. The vet said it had been touch and go when my mom and sister first brought her in. She was in shock, and had a hard time breathing. Hours later, they send her home, looking alot better. Damages to 259 dollars... 3 cracked ribs and a bruised lung later. We took her back in this morning to make sure she would be okay. And she will be.
