Toxicity

I spent last night curled up on the couch with Cosmo watching Grey's Anatomy, Season one, eating chocolate my mom sent for Easter, and gripping my abdomen while waves of heavy, painful cramps came at me.  After 3 months of being MIA, and spending the last 3 weeks stuck in PMS mode (ie-killer cramps, bloating, sore breasts and killer cravings) my period finally rears its ugly head.  I mean seriously, after having being a "woman" for over a decade now, and hearing the docs over the years say my body will regulate itself, when is that time going to come?  At what point will they here me out and actually want to figure out what the hell is wrong with me?  I haven't made it to the gyno since I've been on Kaiser, and it's something I really need to do before I lose my insurance again (in, oh, 2 1/2 weeks).  Maybe my pointing out being engaged and us wanting to have babies soon will get them to wake up and do something about my body's inability to produce regular periods. I swear I have something like endometriosis or PCOS.  At 24, I shouldn't have to leave work early because I'm unable to function do to the painful cramps my period is causing.  Can I scream now?

We officially have an apartment up in Oregon-2 bed, 2 bath, dining area, a deck, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer in the unit.  Life is about to change folks.  I can't believe we're moving in 3 weeks.  I feel this rush to do things I haven't done yet.  I took April 1st off to check out some of the Museums (they're free on Tuesdays).  I might also try to make an appointment at the Birch Aquarium to talk wedding logistics (I really want to get married there) and perhaps that doctor's appointment I've been putting off. I only have 2 1/2 weeks left of work and it couldn't come any sooner.  That place is toxic.  One of my co-teachers finally went above our director's head and talked to the owner about her behavior.  Goodness that woman took her fury out on us yesterday.  She cannot control herself.  I don't know how she ever became a director but her managing skills are null.  Krystal is highly considering quitting, Tristen's on her way out as well, and there are a few teachers in other rooms that want to get the hell out of there.

All we have left to do is pack....what I wanted to work on today, but it seems we're having a replay of last night.  It pretty much hurts to move.

work, female, moving
