I forded the river!

Aye eh eh.  I have been sucked in by facebook's version of Oregon Trail.  Literally, Hours of entertainment. Literally.  The boys (aka Tony and Zuma) have been passed out for at least an hour now, bored by my obsessive oregon playing.  They're pretty cute.  Zuma sure can snore, though.

Tony and I have been saving saving saving as much as possible.  I've been averaging an extra 100$/week for the last month, this weekend has earned me an extra $200!  I think the biggest thing that worries me about the whole moving thing is not having enough $$$.  What really sucks is that my car registration is due next month, which isn't so bad, but I owe $450 in parking tickets because of the stupid street sweeping.  I talked to Nando about finding a way to by pass the whole situation.  Having to renew my Cali tags when we're moving to Oregon 10 days later seems unnecessary, but according to him there's really no way around it. So frustrating.

37 days left at Kids Care Club.  I can't wait to leave that place.  My boss is a nightmare.  Joy and Krystal are on my last nerve.  I am so done with that place.  I've already detached myself.  Tristen and I have fun together, but I'm so over it.

To celebrate our shared day off tomorrow, we plan to hit a trail head tomorrow.  We've really gotten into the whole hiking thing.  We had to drive out to Yuma a few weeks ago, so I researched a couple of places, and we ended up driving out to the middle of no where Arizona, to a wildlife reserve.  It was the best hike yet.  A bit challenging with some up hill climbs, but worth every moment.  I've never experienced such a spiritual quiet before.  If you ever find yourself in/near Yuma, check out the Painted Desert Trail.  It's worth the drive, about 40 minutes NE of Yuma, off of highway 95.

work, hiking, money
