And now, the moment we've all been waiting for....Katie's finals' procrastination entry numero uno (which would have come much sooner if it weren't for my wireless card and router not on speaking terms, apparently they had an argument I was unaware of, and I am now writing from Watson library). The weekend was beautiful. Craig and I spent Friday night together viewing such films as Trainspotting and Shaun of the Dead, drinking lots of black coffee, talking, cuddling, and loving on kitties. I made it back to my apartment around 10:30 Saturday morning, which marked my 28th hour of wakefulness. Tried to sleep away the rest of Saturday, only to wake every hour to hour and a half. Eventually gave up and bbsat. Ended up passing out at the girls' place. Came home with every intention to study the rest of the day, or at least until Grey's Anatomy, but ended up fighting with my computer and calling tech support only to have them tell me it's not my modem or connection. Grrreat. Couldn't find any ethernet cords, so went down to ask Craig, who didn't either, and ended up staying down there till it was time to head back to the Legends. (BTW-Sorry Craig, for waking you up...I seem to have a knack at knocking when you're napping). Despite my serious lack of studying (and sleep!) every minute was well worth it. Got back from tv viewing, asked Mariel to check the net for me, only to find out that my psyc prof had posted a large group of study questions online. At which point I decided to buckle down and head to the library, where I will remain until close (3am), catch about 3-4 hours of zzz. go to practicum for 4 hours, study for 2 more hours, then take my psyc 435 final @1:30. Immediately following said final, you will find me at 1242 Louisiana, apt #5, in my bedroom, curled up with 3 kitties under my lovely warm, comfortable, sleeping. Have I mentioned that I hate finals with the wrath of an extremely pissed off fire breathing dragon? Because I do. If you're up, and it's not 3 am yet, feel free to bring lots of espresso to Watson Library, main floor, computer table directly right of the main entrance my apartment, as I realized I left 3/4 of notes and notebook there. It would be greatly appreciated.
finals,
weekend-ness
