AS&CW Update & a Klingon?
I've been lazy and tired, hanging out with my youngest dd who still wants to hang with me when she's 17 so that becomes a priority for me. Anyway I have a bunch of stuff written for AS&CW but just rearranged the chapter due to loss of my USB. My dd was using it and I thought, Hmm, I should get one for her to use because I know she's going to lose mine and I made the mistake of telling her that so she gets upset. I fudged, said I wasn't serious but she knew I was because she loses things like crazy. I then tried to redeem myself by saying she doesn't lose - eek!
Oooooo a Klingon on ER! I am so shocked! And pleased, that fangirl in me that, hopefully, will never wane.
So as I was saying she doesn't lose things like Ipods and cell phones and things like that so I told her this ending with therefore I don't think you'd really lose the USB. Now I gave it to her for school, saw her take it, saw her put it in her hoodie pocket when she was getting out of the car but after that she and I lost track of it.
Well, no biggy. She's a darling. She'll talk till 2 or 3am with me like having a pajama party on weekdays. It's not advisable but after her senior year she's off to England for college so any time she wants to spend with me I spend. So, I'm not mad at her I just have to re-write the chapter. Oh, and buy another USB which I'll hide from her. Although I'm seriously thinking about buying a Palm Dana. I'll find a link for that. It would come in handy when we go to the Pirates premiere and have to wait for over 14 hours.
So, sorry for digressing so - Klingon's are so cool - but the next chapter to AS&CW will be sometime next week. And I don't want to rush my beta either.
