Faraway, so close!
I’m two days away from my summer vacations. That’s 40 days of summer bliss, of beaches and swimming pools, of cuddling with my daughter, of reading a ton of books and to sleep long naps.
And also, of watching the entire season 4 of Sanctuary and to finally start watching Sherlock, which will be probably be my new fandom. (YAY! I’m in severe need of one RN). Also, I’ve been giving some thoughts to watch the episodes I’ve missed of SPN, but perhaps I’ll just watch the tree episodes with Cas on them and then move on.
So, with all those beautiful perspectives just a couple of days from my reach, I’m understandably cranky and lazy. I don’t want to get up in the morning and the days at work seem endless and boring. I want for my boss to leave me the hell alone but the truth is there’s a lot of work here and we have to do it before we leave. This, of course, explains why I’m sitting at my desk updating my LJ and checking my twitter and facebook instead of working.
BUT I JUST WANT MY VACATIONS NOW. NOW. NOT TWO DAYS FROM NOW. JUST NOW.
2011 was an incredibly tiresome year on all accounts. *sigh*
On other news, apparently all my Christmas cards arrived safely. Even the one I sent to Malaysia, which apparently arrived yesterday. ^_^ Well, better late than never.
OK, OK. I’m done procrastinating now. Back to work. Just the last effort and I will be free for 40 days!!
