Spring is coming this way!
Ahh, such a wonderful sunny day. Blue skies, soft breeze, warm sun. The cherry trees and plum trees are blossoming on the streets.
It's the magic of september announcing the upcoming spring. How I love this month!
In other news, I had a wonderful birthday last saturday.
I was feeling a little depressed that day, so I really didn't feel like updating my LJ with my usual "OMG, I'm so old" funny rant of every year.
It's just that it hasn't been the best of years for me.
But never mind, the past is past and I'm sure there are good things waiting for me in the future. A birthday is a great ocasion to make a fresh start.
And my negative feelings vanished that same afternoon, when a bunch of my closest friends and my family came to my house to celebrate with me, Rodri and Connie. We had a wonderful time and I'm really glad to know I have people who loves me around me.
BTW... Yes, I AM old!!! T_T
The proof is that my cake was about to burst into flames... and it didn't even have all the 32 candles on!!! (Please note the utterly scared look in my daughter's face and my husband shielding himself from the raging fire... LOL!!!) It's a miracle we didn't set the whole house on fire! XDXDXDXD
