Well, finally. I finished with the finals, the students have their grades, I've seen many happy faces and others totally in despair, specially for a last year student that failed my class. Of course I understand him, because failing a miserable subject in THE LAST YEAR must be awful, but I really don't know what else he expected

Hey girl! I was really worried because I heard on the news about an earthquake. This means you're ok. ^_^

I do hope and pray you are able to find another job. This economy is the worst. And I know why your students love you because you're a wonderful teacher and person! I consider you one of my most best friends! And I really mean that. You're easy to talk too and get along with. And good for you standing your ground to that boy. He knew the consequences for not doing the work. I had issues too with my brother's death, but I knew I had responsiblities that needed me. He could've at least made a better effort, issues or not.

Oooh, Connie sounds like she's growing so big now! I remember when she was born and now she's going to be a year old. Where does the time go? They grow up so fast! And yes, please post up a video soon so I can see her. I bet she's just as cute as ever! XD

PS: I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year too. I think it's going to be a great season! I also got my oven working, so this weekend I'm baking all kinds of delicious cookies and candies. Mmm! I'm considering on making some tamales, but meat-filled ones. :9

Yes, the earthquake was in the middle of the country, I live in the south so I didn't even know about it until I hear it in the news...
This economy is the worst. You know, that's what scares me the most. It's not a good time to be unemployed, I'm afraid of not getting any other job because of this damm financial crisis.
Thank you for your words, my friend. Same here! You're such a nice person, you've had some very rough times but you're brave enough to face them and not to let depression take over. That's not easy to do and I admire you.
Of course you're right about my student, and that's what bothers me. We ALL have issues. But we have to try and overcome them and when somebody gives you a chance, you just not waste it away and come begging for another one!

OHHHH, christmas cookies!!! Mmmmm, delicious!!! Since I don't know how to bake cookies, I guess I'll have to buy some. Because what's christmas without a little gingerbread man to eat?
