Connie's baptism... and more.

Jun 20, 2008 18:12

So, last weekend was Connie's baptism. Saturday in the Catholic Church and Sunday in the Evangelic Church.
And guess what: Rodri PROPOSED TO ME AGAIN!! YAY, teh romance! XD Since we only got married by Catholic Church, he wanted to get married by his church too... and it wasn't only fair, but so romantic too! So he decided to do the wedding ad the baptism at the same time.
But of course, being a man, he proposed to me the night BEFORE and I almost went crazy because I had nothing to wear for my second wedding. *sigh*
Anywhoo, it was such a big surprise for everybody! When the pastor said "Well, let's start with the wedding first", everybody was confused. Many thought the pastor had made a mistake, LOL. And when they realized the truth, there were shocked gasps from the crowd!
It was so funny.
The wedding was lovely, the baptism too and afterwards we went to a nice place called "La Parrilla de Don Talo" to have something yummy to eat. All in all, it was a big success. And since I'm a little short of time to tell every detail, I decided to post PICS!!!

First, my favorite: Connie in her dress. She looked like a little princess!!!

Catholic Church, my little sister Camila and her boyfriend Sebastián. Camila is the catholic godmother.

Catholic Church. Some of our dearest friends.

Connie says "YAY!!" ^_^ Evangelic church, with my other sister, Fabiola.

Evangelic Church. My pretty little family. ♥

Evangelic Church. Daniel, Connie's catholic godfather.

Evangelic Church, the wedding. Exchanging rings... again!

Evangelic Church, the wedding. Just married... again!! ^_^

Evangelic Church, the baptism.

Evangelic Church, my parents-in-law.

Evangelic Church, Rodri's brother and sister, Felipe and Andrea. They are the evangelic godparents.

Evangelic Church, my mom with her three grandchildren. (Fabiola's sons)

Evangelic Church. So, since we were already there, and the pastor too... since we already had a wedding and a baptism... why not have the blessing of our new car too? LOL, everybody had a good laugh with this: not one, not two, but THREE ceremonies in one.

La Parrilla de Don Talo: Anxiously waiting for the food. LOL. And that man standing at the end of the table is my dad.

La Parrilla de Don Talo: Connie and her cake. She seems to be wondering when will she get her piece of cake too.

La Parrilla de Don Talo: It was a wedding cake AND a baptism cake. ^_^.

La Parrilla de Don Talo: My mom, Andrea and her friend... singing Karaoke. Mom, how many drinks did you have?? LOLOLOL.

La Parrilla de Don Talo: Felipe and my brother Gonzalo, after the fourth bottle of wine. LOL.

The ceremonies were lovely and we had a really good time!!!
