So, for a change, things are going GREAT in my family! YAY!!!! For starters, They haven't asked for money in months. ^_^
No, seriously.
Apparently things are finally improving for them. My sister Fabiola (the one with financial problems who had to go back to my parent's house after her divorce) is working hard to make more money and she finally is recovering some of her old personality, the one she had before getting married: more cheerful, happier, without that permanently sour look in her eyes.
I think to live with my parents again helped her a great deal. And Daniel, her new boyfriend has been wonderful to her too. He's such a great guy.
Fabiola's ex, Cristián, is about to finally sell their house. It's an EXPENSIVE house, however, he told Fabiola he wasn't sure he could buy a new one, smaller, for her and the kids, as the original deal was when she was forced to leave the house.
And my sister, in a surprisingly mature way, told my mother it wasn't that important if Cristián can't buy her a house. She said "The only thing I want is for him to pay all the loans I had to ask for him. That way I can apply for a mortgage loan and buy a house".
For those not familiar with my sister, that may seem unimportant. But we're talking abut Fabiola, queen of "I want everything without effort"!!! She also said that she realized that living with my parents again was good for her and the kids.
My nephews are doing great too: Javier is healthier, he doesn't have those awful bags under his eyes. Now he studies every day for school, he isn't as hyperactive or mean to his brother like he used to be and he's becoming a very affectionate kid.
His little brother, Joaquín, has improved a great deal with his language development problem (at 5 years old, he's still unable to speak clearly). Now we can understand almost everything he says and you can tell when he speaks, he's not just babbling nonsense, but he KNOWS what he's trying to express!
My other sister, Camila, who has a genetic disorder, is doing great too. She's doing the Herbalife diet too and she's lost some of the weight she gained because of the medicines she takes.
My brother Gonzalo, after 23 years of being "mommy's boy", pretty much the lazy ass of the family, decided he wants to join one of those exchange programs where students can go to work to other countries. Gonzo is in college, studying "Languages" and he wants to go to the US, specifically Las Vegas. And of course I would have to go visit him, just to be sure he's doing good! ^_^
And finally, my dad: MY DAD GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, after I payed for a course that allowed him to "upgrade" his driver license to class A, he's now driving a cab! (Here in Chile you can't drive a cab with just the normal license). XD Since he loves to drive, this could be a good job for him.
Yeah, apparently things are great for my family, thanks God. And may He allow things can go on like that!! They deserve a break after so many years of hard times.
family,
happiness
