Revenge S2 DVD Extras Are Up! \o/
Starting with the bloopers!
So many hilarious moments, but Gabe's, "I love it when you talk dirty" takes the cake, lmao.
Emily's, "I'm DYING" at the way Gabe says, "Let's take the bastard down" is a close favourite. :D
You can check out ALL the Deleted Scenes here, but can we talk about these few that stood out for me?
1. PADMA ASKING NOLAN IF EMILY IS HIS GIRLFRIEND & WHETHER HE IS IN LOVE WITH HER.
I am still utterly stunned at the fact that this scene exists. The way Nolan answers is very interesting - he feigns surprise that Padma would even ask that, and then takes his time to say, "Nooo...." the way Tina Fey's Liz Lemon would answer "Nooo" if Jenna had asked her if she looked older than 29. Major kudos to Gabriel Mann here - even if the scene aimed to establish that Nolan only thinks of Emily as a ~sibling & that's Gabe's personal spin on it, his portrayal of it opened it up to interpretation.
I'm not sure what to think, you guys. The fact that such a scene was WRITTEN is pretty good for us NEmily fans b/c this is one of the characters noticing that Nolan might have feelings for Emily. Whereas the fact that a scene where the sibling concept is applied to Nolan & Emily has been deleted AGAIN (the first time being the Nolan/David scene in S1) gives me hope that they are still keeping the NEmily door open!
2. Nolan checks in on Emily during the Jack/Fauxmanda wedding. That shoulder nudge is EVERYTHING. <3
By the way, Jack watches this "deleted scene" on his TV when Nolan visits him in 2x16!
3. Nolan orders the Rusty Nail - his father's "favourite drink" - & tells Jack he's passed.
Can we talk about the fact that Nolan's father was a military man? I wonder if his violent outbursts are why Nolan is so opposed to physical violence & couldn't even hold the gun correctly at the shooting range in S1.
4. Apparently, Conrad & Daniel buried Helen's dead body at the future Grayson Children's Clinic site??
LOL THIS SHOW.
... and while we're on the subject, it was DAVID who introduced Conrad to Helen Crowley in the first place:
OH THE SWEET, TRAGIC IRONY.
5. Honourable mentions: Declan's laptop on the Amanda confirmed as the one Nolan gave him in S1 (continuity love!) & Kara locks bb!Amanda in the car for the reasons I'm not entirely sure about. They seem to have dropped the lake house angle, but now we know Emily's family had one...
Oh, and there's this cool trailer for the first Revenge novel, "Schooled in Revenge". :D
Yes, an actual book trailer that I would very much like to be made into a movie.
I love the girl they chose to portray Ava!
