Happy Revenge Sunday!
So happy my show is back! \o/ It's been a long hiatus, and I can't wait to see this stunner:

Yes, that's an actual cane in his hands. How can you not love him?
They say Nolan's jealousy will continue playing a part in the Nolan/Emily/Aiden partner in crime triangle, and it pleases me because he obviously cares that he has to share his Ems with someone else. Especially when Aiden is being so annoying with his hands all over Emily in public, seriously, cool it dude, it's no wonder Daniel threw him of the Grayson Global board having been subjected to that all day.
I've recently come to realize my issue with Aiden: after reading one too many interviews of how he & Emily have a unique connection and a past, I feel like it's the writers' way of getting Nolan & Emily together without getting them together. It's like they took everything we said we loved about the N/E relationship in S1 and channeled it into her relationship with this completely new character. I wish they'd stop being so stubborn about NEmily and focus on developing them instead. For ages, I've wished that Nolan & Emily would get closer, that Emily would take interest in Nolan as a person, and what we ended up with is new characters being introduced to realise that for both Nolan & Emily. /o\ I kind of miss S1 when all they've had was each other.
That said, I'm still very interested in the Marco/Nolan storyline, especially after his return at Daniel's call. I loved the scene where Nolan finds out he sold him out to Dan regarding the missing NolCorp funds, but left out the part where David Clarke's daughter was the recipient. It was so great at showcasing Gabriel Mann's incredible range as an actor, you guys:
I love you sfm, Gabe.
Now, Marco leaving out the Amanda Clarke part could be because he wanted to blackmail Nolan into giving him his old job back, but given how strongly Marco felt for Nolan, I think it was more than that. I think Marco still feels like Nolan owes him an explanation and doesn't quite believe the money went where he says it went. Unfortunately, Nolan is still angry and sworn to secrecy with Ems, which prevents him from fixing it. I have hope for them though given that Marco was hired back - maybe even for his being part of Nolan's plan to get NolCorp, their baby, back.
How awesome is it that Nolan has a secret contingency plan of his own in the works? Can't wait to know what it is! Also, his flirting over that with Emily is adorable. There definitely needs to be more Nolan/Emily flirting.
TL;DR LET'S RAISE OUR GLASSES BECAUSE REVENGE IS BACK!
