Revenge 2x02 - "Resurrection"
Staying off the Interwebs until I watch the long-awaited TVD premiere, so it's the perfect time to get my Revenge thoughts in order.

I agree about the WHM & Emily alliance seemed confusing like when did it start? Why was she so sure he wouldn't kill her? Why was she never worried he would reveal her true identity?
You could tell both Nolan & Emily have been secretly thinking about the fact that Emily did seem to expect Nolan to always be around when she needed him with no regard for what is going on in his life. Nolan just never said anything about it because he didn't want what happened to happen. He knew if he said anything Emily might get offended and kick him out of her plans which is obviously not what Nolan wants. He wants to be involved in everything to maybe keep an eye on her to make sure she is safe and doesn't go too far. But he finally voiced what was on his mind and it was so clear to see he regretted saying it as soon as he said it because she did exactly what he thought she'd do. Closed herself off and kicked him off. Granted she was obviously doing it to protect him because she had the WHM coming over but Nolan doesn't know that yet. Which made him watching Emily go up the stairs after dismissing him & asking him to leave that much harder to endure. Emily and Gabe are such incredible actors that they say so much without even uttering a word yet we the fans can tell exactly what they are thinking/feeling.
Loved seeing Nolan actually working & the conference call was too funny. Nemily will always be my OTP but I did enjoy the Nolan/Padma scenes. It's interesting to see Nolan interacting with other people besides Emily, I just hope these outside forces don't put too much strain on our beautiful blonde duo!
It was funny how last year I was so outraged & ranted about a man should never put their hands on a woman after that scene aired where Daniel was drunk & was yelling at Emily then lunged at her and grabbed her arm or shoved her a bit, can't recall it exactly but I didn't bat an eye when Conrad beat Victoria. They are so dysfunctional together that I wasn't even too shocked I just thought "you would Conrad".
I was happy the baby was Jack's baby because less chance of Jack/Emily being endgame Jack deserves some happiness.

It's interesting because WHM is dead now, and Emily won't talk to Nolan about the fact that they were in cahoots, which means WE HAVE NO WAY OF FINDING OUT. It's very frustrating. Like, maybe it said "Property of Nolan Ross" on the ClamCam when WHM noticed it, & since Nolan's house was on the market, he tried Emily instead.

The entire paragraph was entirely accurate, and this is my favourite part because N/E is a ship that is all about the EMOTIONS, which is to the huge credit of GEms' (my pet name for them) chemistry. They look at each other, and we FEEL what they're thinking before we actually attempt to define it in our heads. This is why their scenes are forever my favourite.
It's funny b/c Nolan/Padma is actually something I'd ship if it weren't for Nolan/Emily, but since they are my OTP, while I'm curious, it probably won't be easy to watch Padma become Nolan's #1. Their first date is coming up on Sunday, I guess we'll see how I feel about it.
Daniel shoving Emily was pretty much a dealbreaker for me D/E-wise. If they & got married, they would totally become Conrad/Victoria 2.0, lol.
Re: paternity test. ALL YOUR REASONS ARE MY REASONS, NGL. Even though I want to slap Jack across the face with a fish these days for being a bit of a resident douche.
