STUNNING.
Had my last class this semester yesterday, which just leaves about 5 exams & a Term Paper defense to go before I'm done (& because they love to drag things out, the latter will only be at the end of June). This was the most enduring year yet, and it absolutely did NOT fly by. Can't wait for it to be over. On a lighter note, it was nice celebrating with Elza & two other friends who just came back from their Erasmus exchange in France. We had all the sushi we could eat & discussed their adventures. Good times. :)
In other news, the summer hiatus has just begun, and I have no idea how I'll ever be able to survive it. I already miss my two favourite shows more than words can say.
Why? Why do they have to be so perfect?
Still overwhelmed by how TVD ended & basking in the glory of the Revenge finale.
Haven't had the energy to review the way I want to - the way that would do them justice - yet. But I will.

I WAS MENTALLY SKIPPING THROUGH DAISIES THE ENTIRE EPISODE, NGL.
THE WAY HE LEANS IN AFTER THEIR HUG, THOUGH? I DIE, GUYS, I DIE.
By the way, you might have seen this pic on tumblr, but I actually discovered it via this blog where it served as evidence as the author was making a compelling case for Jolly (my pet name for N/E/J, no regrets) as the OT3 of Revenge.
Also, an accurate post analysing the wonderful progress in Nolan & Emily's relationship this season based on their two hugs. I love this fandom.
By the way, reading your well-argued reply to the above gave me all the feels, agnes_bean. MISS U SO.
ETA: NEmily getting acknowledged as an OTP in this - also very hilarious! - tv.com photorecap was the BEST. I love how #NoRegrets Lily (the author) is about them despite knowing exactly what reaction this might get in the comments with everyone repeating Mike's words like mantra. SMH.
It's interesting, actually, because guy talks the talk, but then he goes & writes them like THAT in the finale. I thought it was J/E, but looking back on the N/E development this season, I can't help thinking N/E must be his favourites. Could be why he's so defensive when it comes to them, but the truth is, their dynamic has that natural, effortless flow to it which cannot be denied. I truly hope he doesn't remain immune to all that chemistry between Gabriel & Emily and recognises the kind of amazing potential there that we've seen all along.
Plus, Hello, Tailor gives props to the ever-impeccable character design on the show & praises the way Nolan/Emily are written & portrayed in a compelling, non-stereotypical way, which is a joy to watch.
I AM SERIOUSLY HIGH ON ALL THE LOVE MY BBS ARE GETTING RIGHT NOW, GUYS. IT'S ALL I EVER WANTED.
P.S. That subtle & beautiful fic describing the immediate NEmily aftermath of the finale? Be still my heart.
