The Destiny of Humankind

"The more we change, the more we stay the same."

I have always thought we grow, change, from childhood to adult. We are shaped by the storms that we have weathered in our lives. Nurtured by experience, tempered by fear, forged by courage... Through it all, I have hoped that through all our tragedies it did not jade life, through all our joys it had not blinded us with pride. That in the end there was some good in our souls, that the good did not perish from this Earth.

Mankind is an interesting species, it is part of nature, but it is the only creature that can go against it's own creation. To deny our own nature will eventually leads to our own destruction. To walk forward and still remain me, to never forget my past, to hope for a future.... will past be an anchor or the stepping stone towards the future?

I am no longer the same, but yet I remain. Like a flower from a small seed I am born, grow, wither, leave my own seeds, fade and die one day. I live on through the seeds I have planned yesterday. But for good to bloom, it is so fragile, it needs cared for and watered with love and tenderness, it need a place to grow and air to breathe... and without a single one of any it will perish.
