yes, i finished tiger and dragon today, and i must say i really liked it. and not just because it was nice and all that. it's because it was nice, and it was well made. until the very end.

i was laughing throughout the whole series, what with the classics being retold by kotora through his misadventures. i really love how they interweave the classic story, the episode plot, and the whole adaptation neatly. by the third or fourth episode, i couldn't wait to see how the classic will end up with kotora's retelling. by the last episode, however, i found myself in tears.

and the whole cast really did a good job in this series, methinks. like, seriously.

this is a dorama that would definitely go to my most favorite ones of all time.

and the idea of making a classic as your own really interested me. because in this day and age, it is really hard to make something really original. but with the right ingredients, a classic can also be fabricated to something "new".
