Title: Encore
Rating: PG
Pairing: JaeSu
Genre: romance, fluff
Notes: So Jaejoongie was at Su's concert last night, but he was rushed out before the encore started. And while I was thinking about that today and reliving the concert over and over again, I was randomly inspired. And then I wrote fluff. The end of the world may still be upon us... XD
Summary: Jaejoong refuses to wait any longer.
Encore
The door swings open quietly, not that any noise would have been noticed in the rush of a backstage quick-change. Coordis towel the sweat off of Junsu's face before a quick retouch of his makeup as he finishes buttoning his shirt. He looks over when he notices movement by the door, and his whole face lights up when he realizes Jaejoong is standing there. "Hyung!" he calls in greeting before looking back at the women surrounding him. "Are we done now?"
The makeup and clothes coordis nod, but the hairstylist shakes her head. "You said you wanted to get your hair up like last night's encore. I haven't even touched it yet," she scolds playfully, knowing full well she's not going to get her chance now.
Junsu proves her right when he waves a hand in the air. With one shot of his puppy-dog eyes and a whine of "Noona~~", the stern expression she'd been trying to maintain melts away. She shoots him a long-suffering grin then gives the other coordis a what-can-you-do shrug. All the women head for the door. "Thank you, noona!" Junsu calls after them just before the door closes.
As soon as he hears the door click shut, Jaejoong strides across the room and sweeps Junsu into a deep kiss. Junsu melts into the embrace, wrapping his arms around Jaejoong's neck and opening his mouth for Jaejoong to deepen the kiss. They pull apart a few heartbeats later, and Jaejoong rests his forehead against Junsu's while stroking the skin he'd found at the small of Junsu's back when he snuck his fingers under the annoyingly in-the-way shirt. "Hi," he breathes out against Junsu's mouth, still so tantalizingly close.
Junsu smiles, sunshine and cotton candy and home. "You couldn't have waited until after the encore? It's only another 20-ish minutes, hyung."
"Are you kidding?" Jaejoong scoffs. He finally pulls away, putting just enough distance between them to look at Junsu more fully without actually moving his hands. "Your brother had to restrain me from rushing onstage as soon as that countdown hit midnight. This was enough of a delay."
Instead of replying, Junsu simply presses another kiss to Jaejoong's lips. He'd intended for it to be quick, but Jaejoong tightens his arms again and chases his motion to pull away. The innocent kiss turns into a mesh of lips and teeth and tongues, and they lose themselves in the escalating heat of the exchange. Jaejoong steps further into Junsu's space, pushing forward until he has Junsu backed up against the wall.
Resting his weight against the wall, Junsu gives himself over completely to the kiss. One hand rests between Jaejoong's shoulder blades as the other tangles in soft hair. His head falls back as Jaejoong trails the kisses away from his lips and down his throat, heated and edged but not strong enough to leave a mark. Junsu wants a mark. He wants teeth and force and abandon and more.
Junsu is on the edge of asking for it, begging and pleading and crying for it if necessary, when a solid knock on the door jolts them both back to reality. They pull away from each other and attempt to control their breathing as one of the stage managers calls through, "We've started the encore video, Junsu."
Scowling, Junsu swears under his breath. Jaejoong grins, reaching out to help Junsu straighten his clothes and fix his hair. "You should probably go," he says softly when they finally have Junsu looking presentable again. Junsu nods, and Jaejoong uses their joined hands to lead him to the door. Just before opening it, though, he drops a quick kiss on Junsu's forehead. "Only 20-ish minutes, right? Then we can go home and ring in the new year properly."
The words finally put the grin back on Junsu's face, and he prays the fangirls will excuse any excessive huskiness to his voice as emotion rather than unresolved sexual frustration. He sneaks one more quick kiss to Jaejoong's lips. "Love you, Jaejoongie-hyung," he says, finally opening the door and rushing towards the stage.
"Love you, too, Su," Jaejoong replies quietly, though Junsu's figure is already almost completely out of sight. "And happy new year."
