it's been awhile
well let's see. let's go backwards.
last night dressed up, had a surprise party for sarah, went downtown. it was fun. didn't drink and still had a headache when i woke up. it was AWESOME.
ummm...let's see didn't really do anything all day, well except stood in the rain and sanded a bench with the other student teacher from Lake Ave. thankfully, the principal came by and told us we didn't have to be there both days, which is why i wasn't there today.
friday night...had katie's party then went downtown and just hung out in t&l cause leks forgot her friggin license. brilliance we have over here. but it was alright...we had fun. i defn. got a lil drunkie drunk.
friday during the day started at St. Clements with my first graders. they're cute and there's only 21 of them...although on friday we only had 18 in the class. read them a story and played bingo with them. going back down in grade levels is so interesting cause they're not as self-sufficient as my 4th graders were. after school i went over to lake to visit my kids. omg do i miss those kids. i stayed till the end of the day, went out to recess with them. they were all giving me hugs the whole time. riley was practically attached to me....he's so cute. it'll take some getting used to, not having them everyday. but i'm sure i'll love my new kids as much, i've just got to get to know them.
it'll be also interesting to be in a catholic school. we have morning prayers with the whole school, and they say grace before lunch and then there's prayers at the end of the day. but i don't have to teach religion at all, not even during my solo week. i think what i'm going to like is not having all the pressures of a public school and standards and all that fun stuff.
umm...thursday had a wonderful day off. mmmmm it was great. then the beginning of the week were the last days with my 4th graders.
and now today i've got the ed club halloween party for kids and then they'll be coming trick-or-treating around scribner and northwoods. but it's so cold and windy and a lil rainy and there's possible snow showers. ugh, i really don't want to be outside. i sooooo hate the cold.
and i've still go laundry to do...from like 2 weeks ago. but shhhhh about that. and some homework. fun fun.
