Relaxing

Alright, so the concert didn't go as well as I would have liked, but the director and audience seemed pleased, so I guess it went okay. I messed up some very easy parts because I was so nervous about the very difficult parts. Turns out, I did the difficult parts perfectly. I hate it when that happens. I've been asked to return in January and sing with this choir every Sunday, which I think I might do. I mean, I grew up in an ELCA Lutheran Church (even though this one is MUCH more traditional). And there is this really hott grad student in the tenor section named Phil. It's one of those things where you randomly glance in one direction with no intention of looking at anyone in particular, then you notice that person (ie hott Phil) is looking right at you and you both turn away as fast as you can. Anyway, with that aside, it would be nice to find a church home and everyone at St. Thomas was very welcoming. I guess they have a lunch every Sunday that is free to all IU students- awesome! It sounds like a place I'll meet a lot of other Lutheran students... cool in my book!

Then, today I had my three final exams. My last final is tomorrow, but it is only reciting Italian somg texts, so it's not really an exam... Anyway, I was up for my 8 am Theory exam which I kicked ass on, then my Math exam at 10 am- which I didn't do so well on and think it might have cost me my A in that class. Damn. Then I had lunch/study time at my friend Mallorie's before my German final at 2:45, which I also kicked ass on. I can't believe it's basically over! One more final- which will not be easy! I hate diction and being in the hot seat, so I know I'm going to get tripped up. Oh well, I don't really care anymore.

I'm coming home on Wednesday and starting work on Thursday. I work 24 hours in the first 3 days I'm home. Insane I tell you! I hope they'll be okay with giving my a few days off right after the New Year to visit my friend Kevin on the East side...
