So this holiday season was Great minus two little facts...
1) A women turning left into a party store at Green Lake Road and Richardson, felt that she didn't need to check for oncoming traffic, and smashed into the drivers sidedoor of the car I was driving. Once she hit the car, the car then slide sideways into a left turn signal light which detached from the ground and flew over the car! Needless to say the drivers side has a massive bumper indentation across both driver side doors, and the passenger side back door, has a major dent and a broken windo from the signal pole! Did I mention I was driving Linsies car, and oh the best part, it was CHRISTMAS EVE. I was a little shaken up, but I was fine, and the lady got a ticket!
2) My car decided to stop running in the middle of Novi Road by twelve oaks mall, and when I tried to start it up again it wouldn't turn over. So I sat in the middle of a busy street for about 20 minutes until someone stopped to help me get out of the middle of the road. The people who stopped were very nice and I am very thankful. Then Mr.B gets there, and he pushed me through the Michigan left turn thing and down the hill and I pulled into a parking lot. Best part this happened NEW YEARS EVE! Josh and I, went yesterday to get it towed, and Josh looked at it and bets that my car isn't worth fixing and that if I do fix it, it will be atleast a $1000.
Well needless to say Linsies dad is fixing her car, and if my car has motor damage, I am taking a loan out to buy another. Let me tell you I'm excited about the new car I may be getting, I already picked it out! 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe, 5 speed, cd player, florida car with no exterior damage, runs and looks great, great condition... best part... josh called the guy yesterday... MUST SELL... so the $2000 he is asking for Could go down a bit! WAY EXCITED... second best part I could have a car that I can get in the drivers side door!!!!!!
So everything else was great, Christmas Eve went over to Joshs family party. Christmas day went to Linsies Aunt Heathers, stopped by my moms, went to Linsies Grandparents. Family party here the 29th, was cool! And New Years Eve spent the night in Canada at a club, with Josh, Alessia, Ross, Lauren, Jon, and Jac. Needless to say I didn't get drunk, but I did have fun. Did you know they don't have pepperoni in canada? Jac got kicked out of the club, found some new drinks I like, realized going to bars is expensive, realized hot hotel rooms suck! lol. But pop is only a looney($1 canadian) in a pop machine. SCORE! lol. IT WAS A BLAST!
Well things are going really good, its nice having Josh, and Linsie, and Megs home... but that also means it will suck even more when they leave! well later!
