Yuletide!

I got three amazing fics this year (I have no idea why I was so blessed, but I'm loving it).

When a Man's an Empty Kettle by Anonymous
Fandoms: Almost Human
John/Dorian
Explicit

It wasn't like John minded going undercover with Dorian. No problem posing as Dorian's owner. At a private sexbot show. Where he would have to...Oh, shit.

This was so in character and case-ficcy and had a great OC. I loved it a lot.

The Emissaries by Anonymous
Fandoms: The Borgias (2011), Midsummer Night's Dream - Shakespeare

Cesare Borgia/Lucrezia Borgia

Once a century, the Pope sends a pair of emissaries to the Court of Faerie. Oberon and Titania are pleasantly surprised when instead of a pair of dusty old priests, they get Lucrezia and Cesare Borgia. Mischief and matchmaking ensue ...

This was sweet and fluffy, which I enjoyed.

Seasons Turn, Fae Turn the Wheel by Anonymous
Fandoms: Midsummer Night's Dream - Shakespeare, Twelfth Night - Shakespeare, Winter's Tale - Shakespeare, Much Ado About Nothing - Shakespeare, The Tempest - Shakespeare, Romeo And Juliet - Shakespeare, As You Like It - Shakespeare, Othello - Shakespeare

In the Winter, the Fae slept beneath the hill. In the Spring, they lived in the flowers. In the Summer heat, they argued on the hill. In the Autumn, they scratched the sky.

Betwixt and between, they played games in mortal's business and mortal loves.

I wanted fairy matchmaking shenanigans, and that is exactly what I got! This was amusing and a fun little romp through Shakespeare, which was delightful.
