also if the useless friend and the unjust steward were Jesus saying 'God is much better than these people, if you'd expect your friends and judges to behave better than this, expect your GOD to behave better than this', maybe He uses that tool elsewhere? like with the king and the tree, maybe He's saying, which do you think God is more like, the king who wants rid of you, or the guy that'll defend you and help you change WAIT BIBLICAL EVIDENCE THAT GOD WANTS TO HELP US CHANGE RATHER THAN BURN THE SIN OUT OF US YESSSSS TEAM DRIPPY HIPPY. and the parable of the king that throws the dude out, do you really think God would be so petty? do you really think God would show love and then turn around and declare a limit on grace?
this may make little to no sense to you, but when andrew wommack uses arguments like 'if i did the things we blame God for, every country in the world would want to execute me' i am like 'GOD STILL DID THOSE THINGS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT, AND IF YOU THINK THAT'S BAD, WHAT ABOUT HELL' dude c'mon. following that moral argument to its logical end gets you universalism.
