Good start to a new week
So at the very end of last week, I guess I came down with a cold bug. Physically and mentally I've been fine, but when I went into work at Target Saturday night, I barely could talk. If I did, all you could hear was like squawk squawk. So over Easter I rested and sounded a little better.
I didnt do much for Easter but clean my apartment. The only things left to do is organize my kitchen better and fold so much clean laundry. So I am glad about that as it is one less thing stressing me.
So far this morning, my voice is a little better but I've now started to cough here and there. Blah!!!
So the weirdest thing last night. I did not take any medicine before I went to sleep nor was I drunk. I ended up dreaming about Adam last night. The odd thing is that I haven't spoken or seen him in 4 years. (and in case you are not aware, Adam was my roommate in NC who I was romantically involved with.) Yea, it was strange in the sense that in the dream, things were like they were supposed to be, we were dating, living together, all that crap. But then for some reason or another, things just fizzled. I dont remember if it was because I was semi waking up or what.
It is weird to me because I have had one other dream about him probably a few months ago. It's not like I miss him or want him in my life that way again. Then again I wonder if I have some unresolved issues with him. But I have made peace with all that happened and moved on in my life. Eh!
I can't remember if I said before but that I left the Doubletree Worthington. I had two interviews last week, one with the Marriott NW in Dublin, and one with Aramark at the Deer Creek Resort. I think the Deer Creek resort will definitely come through and its just a numbers game of sorts. I am hoping to make somewhere between $13-$15 an hour. Its a supervisor position but since I would be doing Manager on Duty shifts from time to time I get a Manager's package. It would include 401k, medical/dental, short term disability, vacation, sick and personal days. So the benefits would really rock. The money would be really really good and then what I make at Target would be extra money in the bank. *keeping my finger's crossed*
Otherwise I am supposed to be going to Charlotte next month to visit my mom for her birthday. Still unsure of that at the moment, have to check the finances but I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do with the celebration for the upcoming big 3-0! Yes thats right, in about 12 weeks and 4 days I will be turning 30 years old. I have thought about something at the beach so my friends and family can come out for the weekend to party with me. I think it would be fun to see everyone and probably help me solidify my moving back to NC at the tail end of next year.
