Major Upheaval....
Well I couldnt think of a better named subject line.
So since I was going to try and do a better job at keeping up with my LJ and have failed miserably. I am going to try and do a update since I am at work and have nothing better to do for the next two hours.
1.) Well there has been some new developments in the whole wanting to buy a condo and the idea of moving/staying in Columbus. Before I started looking at condos, I had thought about moving. To where? Well many ideas, I had thought of moving to Seattle, Chicago, Charlotte, and even as far south as Orlando. I know I can transfer with Target to anywhere; provided there is a position available.
The buying idea has to sit on the shelf for a little bit. I have enough past debt I have to clean up still. So a lot of stuff hinders if I decide to move to Chicago. YES!!! That's right....I am thinking of moving to Chicago. I know a couple of people out there and I am going up there for a vacation next week to take a look around the city and hang out with my pals there.
2.) More on the romantic side........
I have been talking to someone for a few weeks now. It's been nice getting to know Kevin and such. So what do you want to know? Besides the fact that he's very sexy and very good looking. He is a musician. He does work two jobs and is trying to make it into the music biz. He won a competition a couple of years and won first place. He was able to make a single and a video. 3.) Speaking of parents. My mom was up here back in April and celebrated her 51st birthday with me here in Columbus. It was really a nice time to hang out with her and show her where I live and stuff. Granted a little sad I am looking at moving now towards the end of the year.
My dad was up at the beginning of May. I hadnt seen him in almost 17 yrs. It was a good thing to see him. I got a lot of different child to parent questions answered that I know my mom wouldnt really answer. She feels to protect me from things at my age now I think I can handle hearing. It doesnt change things but at least I can understand why things were the way they were when I was younger.
4.) Birthday
Yes my birthday was last week. I turned the big 29! That's right the last year in my 20s. Next year I will be turning the big over the hill 3-0!
I am looking forward to it. As since I dont look my age whatsoever. I am glad to be older and getting a little wiser. This year's birthday was celebrated by a smaller group of friends. Its nice to know that someone tried to remember and go out with me for a drink or 4.
