so thom and i went to the reservoir today. the water was lower than usual. typically, we float over the clawing, creepy seaweed. this time, we frantically fought it off. it clung to our bodies and would not let go. every time we got some off, more came on. eventually, as we got deeper, the water got cooler. the seaweed subsided. i was grateful
