Me and Dawn went out daaaaancing! Ahhh, twas fun. We went to Pivo's first, to get us some cocktails. Pivo's is this really nice trendy bar in town, and usually it's a pretty young crowd in, and they play some good tunes and make a mean strawberry daqueri. However, it was all old men in there tonight. Weird. If I had to ask one more old geezer what his wife thought of him hitting on me, I would have screamed. Anyway, two daqueris and two sex on the beach later, I was a happy Caro. We moved on to the Fubar to dance. You have to understand, Fubar is about as trashy as a club can get. It's just a collection of neds, whores and underagers, but my god, the drinks are cheap and the tunes are good. You can go and have such a laugh. Tonight was amazing. They were playing a mixture of all the old favourites, a bit of indie and some proper old school cheese. I haven't heard 'Boom boom boom, let me hear you say Way-oh' in so long it hurts. And the Vengaboys. Did you know that the Venga Bus is indeed coming, and everyone is indeed jumping? Anyway, It was soooo fun, cos I was the only girl apart from Dawn who knew what she was about when the Fratellis, Oasis and Ocean Colour Scene came on. The dance floor emptied of females and me and Dawn jumped around to Chelsea Dagger, She's Electric and Day We Caught the Train with all these big sweaty guys. Ahhhh, much fun. Some of them looked really scared that a girl was a) on the floor and b) dancing like something out of a cheap libertines video with a bottle in one hand, wearing jeans and a white vest top. I was SO under dressed tonight. Mini-skirts and boobs out everywhere, and here's me in little flat shoes, Topshop boyjeans and a £2.50 Primark vest top. I didn't care. I was there to dance, and dance I did. And when I was jumping around to my kind of tunes, singing loud and messing up my own hair, I felt like a million dollars. God, I love being a typically generic indie kid sometimes.
