Randomish - but your title to your post? When I was a med student, I went back and forth on my answering machine between 'Resistance is futile' and 'Preparation is irrelevant' depending on how close it was to a block of exams. ;)
I somehow rigged a cassette recorder into my VCR so that I got Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard/Locutus of Borg delivering both lines. Ah, yes, the geekliness of it all... :)
Hardly anyone has, alas! It started when I was a little girl, and my mom would "dress up" the old boxed cheese pizza mixes with extra toppings--usually ground beef and mushrooms. We were out of other kinds of meat one day, so she chopped up some hot dogs and sprinkled on top!
When I make pizza at home that's one of the toppings I always add.
*sigh* Of course, it's few and far between any more for pizza, since we have to watch our sodium.

When I make pizza at home that's one of the toppings I always add.
