I know I don't talk to some people who read this journal as often as I should, so maybe I should just throw out a little update on my life

hey chris. im glad you're happy. i know that everyone has their calling and their way of studying and i am glad that you found yours. i have seen alot of problems with slc and i see alot of people who may have been lead astray by overconfidence in what this school will give them for the future. and i am not hurt at your comments of what you think goes on at sarah lawrence, since we were in different fields (ok i was in my hole with my science geeks, but its kindof a field here :) ). What I am hurt by is how you implied that if someone chooses to stay at slc that they are somehow living in a bubble. While there may be some people like that, i dont think that is everyone. if i am somehow in a bubble about having to move on with my life after college, get a medical degree and persue a surgical residency/ transplant fellowship, then by all means prove me wrong. But I dont think i am, and i'd respectfully request that you give a few of your former classmates/ current friends, the benefit of the doubt that they do have their heads on straight.
Miss you and Thanks,
Franne
