my daddy is funny
So I always tease my dad about having a "hot head" because he sleeps with all his windows open and no less than TWO fans pointing at his head all night...in ALL seasons. Sometimes it gets so cold in his room that I have to close the door to his room AND my room just to keep my room at a comfortable temperature. Of course, I'm the opposite--always cold, especially at night. I can go to sleep in a ski jacket (and have, on several occasions) warm ups, socks, and a fluffy hat and still feel cold without my down comforter over me. And my body temperature drops when i sleep, so I always have to make sure I'm warm when I go to sleep otherwise I'll wake up in the middle of the night, sleepy and grumpy.
Today, I was taking a nap on my bed with the blinds wide open and the sun streaming in. It was really nice (and now I know why cats nap in the sun), and my dad walks in to wake me up. I open my eyes to his bemused expression...
Daddy: You're sleeping in the full SUN!
Yasmin: [still half asleep] mmmhmmm...
Daddy: I hate sleeping in the sun...
Yasmin: That's because you're already full of hot air--you'd explode.
My dad laughed so hard that he had to sit down. =P I was amused.
