I've had a really nice Valentine's Day! Proving it's as much for single people as people in relationships :p Especially since this afternoon I got a call from a girl I haven't seen since I was eleven or something crazy like that! She said that she'd been trying to get hold of me for a few months just to catch up, but because of moving around, she had trouble finding my number, then she got hold of my aunt's, and she gave it to her. Me and her used to go to summer camp together when we were six, and then we used to talk to eachother here and there after I stopped going to camp, and then when I moved, I guess I lost her number or something.
But we talked about old camp fire songs and she reminded of me this one!
It's really sad I guess, since it's about getting older, and how things change, and we can't change the past. So it kind of fits us drifting apart. But we used to sing it the last night of camp every year, and everyone would cry, even the camp counselors - but it was tradition!
So I know it's a little early but, what were your best memories of past summers? I wouldn't trade my summers at camp for anything :)
