MERRY CHRISTMAS! It's 3am here in the Phillippines, and my aunt went to bed about four hours ago, so I got bored and decided to update this. Is anyone else tracking Santa? He's in Azerbaijan at the moment, and then he's going onto Armenia after that! My dad found the link when I was about 7 or 8, and he'd sit with me at our computer and we'd drink hot chocolate until he sent me to bed at about 9 o'clock, even though I was too excited to sleep. Even when I got older, I still liked to sit and watch the website, it's kind of like a tradition for me.
Apparently the air defence command accidentally got a call from a little boy who called, giving the colonel who answered his christmas list, and instead of shouting at the boy for wasting his time, gave him Santa's location, and then told all the people working on the phonelines to do the same. I think that's really sweet, that he didn't want to upset the children calling in, so he made up a lie to keep the children believing he was real. It made me think about lying in general, actually. When is a lie not a lie? Would you tell a lie to protect someone from the truth, or to stop them getting hurt, or is honesty always the best policy?

I am so so tired right now. My eyes are barely even open. Maybe if I'm so tired, I'll sleep through the night with no dreams, and wake up feeling a lot better than I normally do lately when I wake up.
