Sweet Labor Day!
Well, it is Labor Day here in the US. A wonderful day where we take time off of work to observe how hard we work and appreciate our dedication to making this great nation run smoothly (or as smoothly as we see in our own little world of it). Pretty much, it's another paid holiday. At my place of work, Davinci Virtual, we have been extremely busy with a project. All this past week has been lots of stress and of course, Tacy having a couple crying fests at work. Thank heaven my office is just girls... But yeah. We finished the most stressful bulk of the project on Friday and a huge relief for that. Reminds me of when I was in college and you stress for days on end about a final, and then you go take it and when you walk out of the examination room you think to yourself, "That is the last time I will have to think about that subject if I have to." And it's like this super happy relieved feeling of freedom. Well thats how I felt going into this weekend, The project stress was behind me, I knew it was a three day weekend, we had some parties and stuff to go to, but mostly relaxing around. But like an idiot I decided to do some work today. Yeah I know....
On a lighter note, I finally got my copy of PSP XI and was able to successfully install it on my lovely Vista OS PC. Sigh... oh how I missed this program! I am itching to design now. Of course it is now winding down the weekend, and we are leaving in about an hour to go to Lagoon and see the closing day of Dallin's show. But I will design and i will have fun doing it, damn it. I wish I could draw or something... I want to be creative, but I for some reason was not gifted in all those areas...
